Time & Attendance

Time & Attendance application is intended for recording time that employees spend in user-specified controlled zones. A work area for employee and time, that employee spend in that area and which is counted as a work time, can be specified for each employee.

A number of work areas is not limited. Each work area can include any object readers, existing in configuration. Data, received by means of Time & Attendance application, can be used for calculating employees' salary. System setup and startup increases attendance and improves the performance of a company.

Existing report types

The following report types, based on work time data, can be composed:

  • Entries/Exits – represents data about all cardholder entries and exits for the time selected and counts the time spent in a work area between entry time and leaving time.
  • Total report – represents data about total time spent by employee in a work area for all days of reporting period.
  • Time-board – represents data about time spent by employee in a work area for each day of reporting period.
  • Latecomers and gone earlier – intended to inform about work scheduling variance concerning established timetable (i.e. about latecomers, those who came earlier and went earlier or later than work time).
  • First entry/last exit – represents data about first entry and last exit of employee for each day of the reporting period and allows calculating total work time for all days.
VECTA Time and Attendance

New unique report type “Latecomers and gone earlier” allows director to receive reports about time attendance (lateness time and time of early leaving) for each employee.

Manual data correction

In order to solve the situation concerning undisciplined employees, who don’t time all their entries and exits at Time & Attendance readers, data correction is provided and based on adding additional events. Virtual Readers (on behalf of which manual data correction is provided) must be provided for manual data correction of entries/exits events in system configuration.

Permission Control

Same as any other client application of VECTA ACS, Time & Attendance application provides Permission Control. For example, operator must have specialized rights to Register object events so that he had a right to correct entry/exit events.
