VECTA Modifications
Depending on project scale and needed functionality VECTA has two main modifications:
- Basic and
- Professional
VECTA BASIC
VECTA Basic is a cost-efficient entry-level access control system for small-scale facilities and supports up to 8 readers and not more than 1000 cards within one site. This modification is intended for access control system built on HID VertX hardware or Apollo Security hardware. VECTA Basic has following client applications:
- Console
- Basic Alarm Mode:
- Event List
- Event Acknowledgment
- States in Configuration Explorer
- Sound Playback on Event
- Shortcuts and shortcuts groups for group operations
- Cardholder Configuration
- Reporter
All VECTA modifications, including VECTA Basic, have powerful operator and permission control, audit subsystem, which allows to control operator's activity, and full-functional Security Groups for efficient access level management.
VECTA Basic first license includes server and client for one workstation. Additional license allows to launch all client applications on additional workplace.VECTA Basic supports unlimited number of additional workstations.
VECTA PROFESSIONAL
VECTA Professional is a powerful integrated security system for medium and large-scale sites and supports virtually unlimited number of hardware and up to 500.000 cards. VECTA Professional has all functionality of VECTA Basic plus:
- Advanced Alarm Mode:
- Graphic Maps
- Hardware State Monitor
- Checkpoints
- Person Location Monitor
- Video Verification
- Badge Design
- Time & Attendance (Optional)
- Client and Server Automation
- Build-in HTML Browser for custom HTML user interface
VECTA Professional can be optional extended with IP video drivers for Panasonic, Axis or IQinVision IP cameras. Each driver allows monitoring live video, placing cameras on graphic maps, using them in video verification mode, and linking video with alarms or any other events both from alarm monitoring or access control system.
For 3rd party integration, VECTA Professional has powerful SDK (Software Development Kit). VECTA SDK provides standard COM-interface and gives access to all objects in configuration. SDK allows configuring and editing objects, receiving online events and notifications, synchronizing cardholder information, generating event reports. Sample projects and scripts are also included.
Both VECTA Basic and VECTA Professional can use one of the following database management systems:
- InterBase 2007
- MS SQL 2005
