VertX and EDGE Online Training
Attention to our partners and customers. The online trainings Introduction to VertX and Introduction to EDGE are available now. E-courses are provided by HID Global and could be found at the HID web-based training site http://www.hidtraining.com.
We strongly recommend passing these courses to all staff installing and maintaining VertX & VECTA based solutions.
HID E-Learning is a free resource. It takes approximately one hour to complete each of the courses. At the conclusion of the course, there is a short quiz. A passing grade earns a printable certificate of completion.
Introduction to VertX
"This course will define the V1000 Series Interface Panels as well as the stand alone V2000. These products will be defined and differentiated so that at the end of the course, you will understand and be able to apply the functions of each panel.
We will also explore the basic wiring, power and network connectivity for each panel. This will give you a solid framework for the installation of VertX CS panels from a hardware perspective."
Introduction to Edge
"This course will explain the new model in light of the traditional methods and provide a thorough overview of the benefits that IP access control presents using HID's new Edge and EdgePlus technology. Finally, we will conclude with a discussion of installation and mounting considerations for the products."
